Long Distance OSP, Outdoor Plant Duct Installation
The cable consists of 48 color-coded SM G652D optical fibers in 4 color-coded loose tubes and 48 color-coded MM OM3 optical fibers contained in 4 other color-coded loose tubes. These tubes are filled with a thixotropic gel to prevent the ingress of water and SZ stranded around a dielectric central strength member. Fiber-glass strength yarns reinforce the cable core and an outer jacket completes the cable structure.
