Alcadon Group takes the next step - 
CEO Sonny Mirborn comments on the acquisition of 6X International ApS and 6X International GMBH

- I am pleased to say that Alcadon Group has today signed an agreement to acquire 6X, with operations in Denmark and Germany and a turnover of 126 MDKK and 13,4 MDKK in EBITDA. The acquisition equates to a valuation multiple (EV/EBITDA) of 4.1 and the transaction entails a performance based earn-out over the next 36 months.
 

6X is a profitable distributor and product developer with a focus on professional network infrastructure and specifically FTTx and datacentres. The company has a very strong position in Denmark and has been established in Germany for about a year, where development has been good. In recent years, 6X has experienced a strong growth and has further expanded operations. Alcadon Group and 6X have had an ongoing successful collaboration in several areas since the beginning of 2019.
 

From Alcadon's perspective, the acquisition of 6X provides the opportunity to expand into attractive geographical markets by acquiring a successful, established company. The acquisition is expected to strengthen Alcadon Group’s operations in all geographical markets.
 

The acquisition is a transformative event for Alcadon Group, which during 2020 had a successful journey with strengthened profitability, strong profit growth and several key recruitments. We are now an even stronger company with a very promising future.

Susanne Stengade, owner and CEO of 6X, will form an important part of Alcadon Group's Group Management. She will also be responsible for Alcadon's operations in Denmark and Germany.
